The Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarship Fund at the University of Maryland, College Park, provides annual scholarships for members of the Theta Nu chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. who have demonstrated a commitment to being of service to others.  Scholarship funds are awarded to address financial need and reward academic excellence.

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarship Fund supports current use scholarships managed by UMCPF.  Upon reaching endowment level, the funds will be transferred by UMCPF and used to support an endowment fund with the same purpose and criteria for awards.
